Near the end of the movie, when Frankie drives the Firebird into the lobby of the building to save Edward, there should be at least some minor damage and scratching to the front of the car. A few minutes later, when the survivors are driving away in the Firebird, the camera pans right over the front of the car and it is in pristine condition, appearing as if it had just been cleaned and polished.
