SPOILER: When the gremlin hangs the bag with the baby from the bottom of the plane the bag hangs straight down and barely moves. In reality it would be pulled back horizontal and severely buffeted around by the slipstream. This happens any time the bag dangles under the plane. Clearly the wind machine, though strong enough to blow Ms Moretz's hair around was not strong enough to move the bag.
Just as well as the buffeting the baby would have taken inside would likely have killed it.
