After Lynn kills Chow in his executive office as well as his body guards towards the beginning of the movie, we see an upper body half camera shot of Lynn replacing the smoke detector with a satellite camera. How exactly is she able to do that? No part of her body is attached to the ceiling, and there is nothing for her to stand on to reach the ceiling. The ceiling is high enough that later when Hong comes to investigate this crime scene, she uses a 20 foot ladder to be able to see things on the ceiling.
