In the opening scene, Lily (Phyllis Diller) is preparing dinner and setting the dinner table with white melamine plate with gold wheat sheaf. Later on when the family sits down to dinner the table is set with white china banded with dark green. Then after the meal, the dishes Lily is washing have returned to the melamine.
