Prior to the torpedo hit of his cruiser near Pearl, Torrey ordered Burke to "radio" the fleet as to his plans for the task force. After the hit, Torrey orders Burke to radio the fleet as to position and damage. Burke questions the breaking of radio silence, which had already been broken with the previous order.
