(at around 1h 50 mins) The line of solar flare destroying Manhattan is shown from many angles as moving from south to north, but the shot where the MetLife Building and Grand Central Terminal are destroyed shows the fireball destroying those buildings from north to south. The camera angle is from across the street from the South Entrance of Grand Central looking north and the fireball comes up from behind them. A few seconds later, when Times Square (just a few blocks away) is destroyed, it is shown "correctly" from south to north.
