Plato dated Atlantis sinking at 9600 BC. The story states that this was when Atlanteans adapted to their new watery home. The Kingdom of the Deserters would have therefore formed after the sinking of Atlantis. Their home was the Sahara Desert which was underwater at the time according to the story.In the DC Extended Universe, The Kingdom of the Deserters was one of the seven Kingdoms which splintered from Atlantis after The Great Fall and is now under the Sahara, along with The Hall of Armory. It was not created after Atlantis sunk.
