As the Marx Bros. enter singing "Old Kentucky Home" and the crowd turns upstage, you can see Louis Sorin (Chandler) reach for his tie with both hands to remove it once he is facing away from the audience. Next, there is an obvious cut, but you see Sorin's elbow (at left) in the closer shot of Groucho, Zeppo, and Chico, with Harpo standing behind them. The brothers part to reveal Harpo wearing a full-body swimsuit upside down, and Sorin's tie around his neck. Sorin grabs his tie back.Since they were filming a stage play, it's obvious the scene was shot straight through at least once. On the stage, the actor playing Chandler would have to remove his tie at this point and either (A) slip it to Harpo while he was behind his brothers, or more likely (B) pocket it because Harpo would already have on a duplicate tie when he entered.
