The blue buildings on the DMZ, supposedly those of Panmunjom, are never used by the North Koreans and South Koreans/Americans at the same time, unless there is a formal meeting. Usually these buildings are left empty, but when either party goes in there, the other door is locked. So it is extremely unlikely they would watch the actual interview together, albeit on their own side, in that room.
