At the beginning of the cake scene between Poirot and Ratchett, Poirot is reading a book and is laughing quite animatedly at what he is reading. A second later, when the camera captures Poirot's face as Ratchett approaches him, his face is completely straight, as if he wasn't just laughing his head off.
