Boddicker is recorded confessing to being criminally connected to Dick Jones. Dick Jones later states RoboCop's recording is admissible as evidence. However, RoboCop had no warrant to enter the warehouse and assaulted Boddicker during his arrest. This 'evidence' is referred to in law as 'fruit of the poisonous tree' and would be thrown out by the judge and inadmissible.
