The anacondas are far larger than real anacondas. Also, they do things anacondas can't do. Anacondas can't grab prey with their tail. They can't lunge from a tree and grab falling prey. They can't stick up out of water that high when the one grabbed Gary. The one would have been dead if it was blown up, but it is on fire and alive.
