SPOILER: (at around 31 mins) In the after credits of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scott and Hope can clearly communicate with radio in the quantum realm without time delay, but in this movie, it is stated that 5 hours in quantum realm equal 5 years in normal time.However, recall from that same scene is Ant-Man and the Wasp, Janet warns Scott to not get sucked up into a time vortex. After the time skip, where he evidently traveled through a time vortex, Scott mentions that the quantum realm is chaotic and unpredictable, and thus pitched the idea of "controlling the chaos" to make a time machine - clearly this shows that the 5 hours of quantum time wasn't directly proportional to the 5 years of real time that passed.
