After Deke reaches the raft in the middle of the lake, he lights a joint. However, due to the fact that he has just been swimming, this joint should be wet and therefore unable to be lighted.Sharp eyes will note that Deke had placed his joints (and a small size Bic lighter) in an airtight pharmacy prescription bottle stuffed in his waistband, which would keep the contents dry even when submerged.
