At the very end of the film, Confederate cavalry ride past the house Major Kendall is using for his field hospital. Two of the guidons they're using are the same red and white ones the Union troopers use. This would not be accurate. They carried different versions, some based around their 1st National flag, the Stars and Bars, or around their State seals.
