Despite the film taking place around January of 1983, Nightcrawler can be seen wearing the iconic red and black jacket from Michael Jackson: Thriller. However, the music video wouldn't be released until early December of 1983, and since it was designed originally for the video there's no way Nightcrawler could have had even a knock-off yet.
