When De Silva/Vardhan first shows Vijay Don's body in the hospital, it is in comatose state due to sedatives. However, towards the end of the movie it's revealed that Don was fairly conscious even in Vijay's presence to get his glimpse and hear Vardhan's scheme. Since Don had regained his senses so suddenly, the ECG reading should have given an alarm indicating abnormal heartbeat immediately but there's no such warning.
