When Jared Phelps parks his tandem bike outside the jewelry store, he leaves his bike on the ground unlocked to go inside the store. This would've allow anybody including the thief to steal the tandem bike and take off with it. Now keep it mind this was filmed in 2003 before the rise of bike theft became a big problem in Utah.
