In the intro sequence, the knife the General is holding is a SA dress knife. The SA were destroying in the Night of the Long Knives in 1934. The knife itself is inscribed with "Alles für Deutschland" (Everything for Germany). Typically Wehrmacht dress knives have no inscription.
