Halfway through the film when Jolson's character is destitute and stands across a street from and faces toward his old nightclub "Blackie Joe's," the cabaret's flashing marquee is reflected and can be seen clearly in the store window behind Jolson; however, unlike a true reflection, the words and letters are not reversed.
