During the chase with the Chrysler 300, the Mustang spins and continues in reverse. However, the maximum speed attainable would be approx. 25 mph, not the high speed shown.Due to gear size, the speed in reverse is the same as the first gear speed. The actual reverse speed of the Mustang is closer to ~40 mph. They were not likely going even that fast. Filming techniques make speeding vehicles seem at high speed when they are really not.
