When Koskov enters the men's room at the Bratislava concert hall, the sign on the door reads "pánové", which is Czech for "gentlemen". However, actual signs in Bratislava would have been written in Slovak rather than Czech. The use of the two official languages in Czechoslovakia would be confined to their respective part of the federation, and so any Czech signage in Bratislava would have been very unusual.
