When first depicted as coming around the dark side of the moon, the interior of the spacecraft is totally dark, with no instrument lights or any other light source of any kind. Then when descending, the interior of the LM is also black, but with glaring instrument lights but impossible to read any of the labels on the panels. This is absurd, as it would be impossible to function. This is deliberate on the part of the director, who clearly has no awareness or concern about how knowledgeable the audience of the preceding generation is about Apollo.
