When they are buying the new Mercury Monterey convertible, Lucy is in the driver's seat making the convertible top operate. The top is clearly white. However, at the beginning of the move, when Desi is frantically searching for Lucy, he is shown driving during sunny weather (with the top down) and in a rainstorm (with the top up). The top is clearly not white. Even rain wouldn't darken a convertible top that much.. It appears to be either faded black or tan.
