The Mummy responds to Beni speaking Hebrew. Beni's incorrect pronunciation and accent could be due to his inadequate knowledge of the language; however, Imhotep, who knows the language, says "Ulai efshar l'hishtamesh bakh", meaning, "Perhaps I can use you." Unfortunately, "bakh" is a second-person address to a female. Imhotep should have used "b'kha".
