As Neumuller drives his wagon past the castle, he looks to his left and sees Igor, then spits at him. This causes Igor to send the monster down for revenge. As Neumuller continues along with the castle wall to his left, the monster is seen approaching from a mountain pass to Neumuller's right, across the road from the castle, instead of from the left.
