Admiral Yamaguchi steps off the bridge of the Hiryu, looks up and sees Dick Best and his wing men diving on the Akagi. The point-of-view now switches to Best's aircraft. The planes are no longer diving but are now shown in level flight prior to making their dive. It is only later after Admiral Nagumo steps off the bridge of the Akagi that Best's group is shown executing their dive - for the second time.
