Pinto first meets Clorette at the Food King where she's working as a cashier. At the end of the movie when they have sex, she tells him that she's only 13. However, the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 set 14 years of age as the minimum age for someone to do non-agricultural work. Clorette should never have had the cashier job.
