When Vada boards the plane to California, she can be seen boarding a Northeast Airlines airplane. Northeast was mostly a regional carrier in the Northeastern part of the United States, although it did serve Los Angeles. With the film set in 1974 this has to be incorrect as Northeast ceased service in 1972 when its operations were fully merged into Delta Airlines. Likewise, while the airline was in service it served no airports in the vicinity of Vada's hometown of Madison, Pennsylvania, which is located 32 miles from Pittsburgh, the city Vada most likely would of flown out of. The closest airports to Pittsburgh that Northeast served were in Philadelphia and Cleveland.
