SPOILER: The ARSENIC poison in the bottle of Raticide (Rodenticide) used by Agatha Christie, causes The Butler Fellowes to almost immediately die from from the ARSENIC, as death should have taken 24 plus hours.The prognosis of arsenic toxicity is highly variable dependent on the arsenic state, the amount ingested and the duration of exposure. Long term exposure can eventually lead to a multitude of different systemic illnesses. The estimates for lethal exposure dose of inorganic arsenic are 0.6mg/kg. Lethal ARSENIC doses resulting in death, typically occur 1 to 4 days after ingestion.
