It is clearly nighttime when they shoot up Lazy Boy's home. When Mitch gets the call, it's light outside. They wouldn't wait until the next day to remove the body or call the detective. Additionally, between the house shooting - Mitch and Trey are rehearsing with William Shatner. Everything totally out of sequence.
