Kramer gives Richie a five mark note for information and wants to do so again later in the film. While not impossible, it is unlikely that Kramer would have been able to do so. First, the film is set in 1992 and that specific note (showing author Bettina von Arnim) was only introduced at the end of October 1992. And second, five mark notes were rare - the five mark coin was way more common.
