The scene where the chief inspector Max Vernon walks up to the siege you can clearly see a "facelift" (1981) Mark II Ford Granda Police Vehicle (Reg YPA 629Y). Regardless, the Y reg cars did not come out until 1982 but this siege was in April 1980.
