At the climax of the film, after Rey stole Ben Solo's ship. He is shown to have followed Rey to Exegol using a TIE fighter he found in the wreckage of Death Star II. However the TIE fighters from the Original Trilogy lacked the ability to use hyper drive and as such there is no way Ben could've reached Rey in time.Regardless of the film novelization explaining the ship as a TIE scout, which can go into hyperspace. The ship is never clarified as such in the film, thus it remains a plot hole in the film. The Tie Scout type of Tie Fighter has never been mentioned on any Star Wars film, so the novelization explanation still is not entirely consistent with the movies.
