All of the army of enemy aliens attacking Earth, suddenly drop dead when the portal closes due to Tony Stark throwing a nuclear bomb to their mothership (except for Loki). No explanation or cause of death is given for this, they were supposed to be living beings, not robots controlled by a mothership (they were controlled by the Loki's staff, which was safe on Earth).
