(at around 8 mins) In the very first scene on the stairs, Phil predicts that spring will begin on March 21st, but the actual date of the vernal equinox was March 20th (for Eastern Standard Time, in which the movie was set). The last year in which the equinox fell on March 21st was 1979 (14 years before the movie was released), this will not occur again until March 21st, 2103.
