After Elliot is transported from his Drug Dealer wish, he falls from the sky and lands onto the hood of a car parked near the Devil, who is standing next to a parking meter and wearing a purple meter maid uniform, and then falls onto the sidewalk. While Elliot is lying on the sidewalk, the Devil's purple shoes can be seen about a foot away from Elliot's head 0:36:45. But when Elliot gets up 0:36:47, the Devil appears to be standing much further away from Elliot.
