In "Justice League", Bruce says to Arthur: "I hear you can talk to fish". Later, Arthur tells Bruce that it's the water which talks to the sea creatures. But Little Arthur communicates to the fish at the aquarium, adult Arthur talks to the whale which facilitates his and Mera's escape from Atlantis, and the Karathen is shocked when she realizes that Arthur understands her.
