The embassy was taken on the 30th April 1980. When the terrorists first enter there is a B11 series, Nissan Sunny 1.5 SGL Estate parked outside (TNN 998W) - however the W registration letter was not issued until 1st August 1980. Furthermore, in 1980 Nissan cars were still branded and marketed as Datsun, not Nissan. The Nissan Sunny B11 series cars were only introduced after late 1981.
