Set in 2003, Blue's age is revealed to be 89, which makes his date of birth 1914. Blue's picture at his funeral shows him in front of a US flag with 50 stars, which means he would be at least 45 at the time the picture was taken - which clearly he is not. Actor Patrick Cranshaw, who played Blue, was in the US Army Air Force during World War II, so we know it is not him. The photo - whoever is in it - can't be one of Blue.
