A big deal is made of Ron's life bird species, a Prairie Falcon. Towards the end of the movie, when he finally sees his "life bird", the bird shown in the movie is clearly a Peregrine Falcon, not a Prairie Falcon. The call that leads him to the bird is also not a Prairie Falcon's call.
