at 1hr 21, General Tanz instructs Hartmann to arrange breakfast for the following morning, comprising "four raw eggs, two slices of toast, coffee and one ounce of brandy". Being born and raised as German citizens, educated in the metric system with little or no knowledge of the imperial system, Tanz & Hartmann would more than likely have instinctively referred to the brandy by it's metric equivalent of "thirty millilitres" or even "two tablespoons".
