(at around 56 mins) In order to test the signal interruption works in the field, John Connor and one of his guys purposely attract a Hunter Killer one night with an explosion. Scenes are shot from the front and rear of the duo in waiting. It's obvious by the light and shadows from the sun, the frontal shots were filmed in the day and altered to appear that they were filmed at night to fit in with the scene.
