A nuclear bomb would not cause the implosion effect shown or anything like it. In nuclear weapon design the term "implosion" is used to refer to designs that uses a primary fission trigger and a secondary fission section. The implosion component of the detonation lasts less than a millionth of a second and is entirely contained to the device.
