As the two parties begin their race to Hamunaptra, Rick and Beni are in the lead. Beni begins hitting Rick with his whip and is pulled from his camel and thrown to the desert floor by Rick. As Beni stands up, we see the others on their horses coming up behind. The scene then changes to a wide shot and the standing Beni is nowhere to be seen.
