In the beginning of the movie, they show a crowd of people trying to buy a basket of sea urchins in Bombay/Mumbai. Reality is that Indians don't eat Sea urchins. Most people in India only eat a few 'safe' kinds of fish and persuading them to try something different can be difficult.
