On Thursday, the day Linda finds out about Jim's death, Bridgette is seen with no cuts on her face. As the movie progresses and Linda goes back in time, viewers see that Bridgette actually got her cuts while her husband is still alive.However the way the "time travel" works in the movie is that Linda re-lives the days leading up to Jim's accident, changing what happens on those days. Only the second time around did Bridgette cut her face, so from the perspective of the other characters, her face on Friday (funeral day) is suddenly cut up.
