(at around 39 mins) When the airliner crashes it wipes out the cars behind the first row, and cars are thrown about and chaos begins in the scene. When the camera follows the main character, you can see the shadows of people sitting in the first row of cars like nothing happening. The digital fire is easily seen covering up anything behind it.
