At around seven minutes into the movie, as Daryl Sabara's character is crossing the street, a 1995 International Blue Bird school bus passes behind him. The bus is 20 years out of place, as this scene takes place in the mid 70's. However, it's never actually said or shown what year any scene in the movie takes place.
