At the beginning of the movie it states that Thomas was accused of murdering his sister Samantha and took his own life while in jail. At the end of the movie it states that their mother took her own life in the hospital when she learned of the deaths of her children. If Thomas and Samantha both died, how did Thomas take his own life later while in jail? (Also the footage of a dead Samantha at the end was obviously taken by Thomas). However, it is entirely possible that the mother wasn't told of Samantha's death immediately and was informed of both deaths after Thomas' suicide and then killed herself.
